The editor: build and style every page

Around the editor

The editor shows your site exactly as visitors will see it. Click Edit in the top bar to start editing; Save stores your changes and Exit leaves edit mode. Undo and redo work as you would expect, including with keyboard shortcuts.

The top bar also shows the save state of the page (Saved, Saving, Unsaved) and, next to it, whether your live site is behind: Unpublished changes means visitors are still seeing the previous version until you hit Publish.

Use the device tabs to preview your page at desktop, tablet and mobile widths. Your layout adapts per device, so you can fine-tune how work is arranged on a phone without touching the desktop design.

Pages and navigation

The Your Pages panel lists everything on your site in two groups: Main Navigation (in your menu) and Not Linked (reachable by direct link only). Drag pages to reorder them, or drag one between the groups to add or remove it from your menu.

The + button adds three kinds of items: a Page (a blank page), a Link (a navigation item pointing at a web address, a section on a page, or your CV), and a CV item that opens your uploaded PDF directly.

Each page's menu offers Rename, Settings, Hide page and Delete. In Page Settings you edit the title and the URL slug, publish or unpublish the page, duplicate it, or make it your homepage.

Sections and blocks

Pages are built from sections, and sections hold blocks. Adding a section gives you a choice: a Blank section you fill yourself, or a Collection section that pulls from your archive (works, exhibitions, press or publications) in one of three layouts: Grid, Masonry or Slider.

Inside a section you add blocks: Text (rich text with headings and links), Button, Image, Video, Shape (a decorative rectangle with colour, radius and blur), Social Links and Form. Drag and resize them on the grid until the page feels right.

Collection sections are deeply configurable: columns and gaps, aspect ratio (from square to portrait), image hover effects, sort order (newest first, oldest first or a custom order), how the title and details appear (below the image, fading in on hover, always overlaid), and for sliders arrows, indicators and autoplay.

The signup form

The Form block adds an email signup to any page. Visitors who fill it in are added to your Personal updates list in Audience, ready for your next campaign. You can edit the title, description, disclaimer and button text, and add extra fields like a phone number or a message.

You always receive a copy at your account email when someone submits the form, and you can add extra notification addresses, for example a gallery inbox.

Header and footer

The header and footer are shared across all pages and edited on the canvas like everything else. For the header you choose a layout and behaviour (stays at the top, always visible while scrolling, or reappearing when visitors scroll back up), toggle buttons and social links on or off, and set the mobile menu style.

Site Styles: one look for your whole site

Your site has one theme, edited in the Site Styles panel (the paintbrush icon in the top bar, or Styles in the sidebar). Change something here and every page follows, so your typography and colours stay consistent without checking each page by hand. The panel has five areas:

• Colors: your site's palette. Pick from over twenty designed presets (from Gallery White to Charcoal Mono) or adjust any swatch with a colour picker.
• Fonts: font pairs for headings and paragraphs, a base size, and per-element style assignment for fine control.
• Buttons: button packs (rounded, pill, square) plus detailed control over background, border, padding, shape and typography.
• Forms: matching form styles, from minimal text fields to bold outlined packs.
• Animations: how elements appear as visitors scroll. A site-wide style (fade, scale, slide, clip) and speed, separate reveal settings for images including parallax, and an intro animation for full-bleed hero sections.
