Getting started with Kreativ
What Kreativ is, how early access works, and how to find your way around the dashboard.
What is Kreativ?
Kreativ is a website builder made specifically for visual artists. Instead of starting from a blank page, you start from your practice: your works, exhibitions, press mentions and publications live in one archive, and your website is built on top of it.
That structure is what makes Kreativ different from a general website builder. When you add a new work to your archive, every page that shows your work stays current. Your portfolio and your overview pages never fall behind.

Early access
Kreativ is currently in early access. Join the waitlist on the homepage and we will invite you as soon as a spot opens up. Early access is free, and we build Kreativ together with the artists using it: new tools ship every week, and your feedback directly shapes what we build next.
On the waitlist? Keep an eye on your inbox. Invitations go out in small batches so we can onboard everyone properly.
Finding your way around the dashboard
After signing in you land on your dashboard home. The sidebar has five areas:
- Home: your studio at a glance. A setup checklist, your live site with stats (works online, exhibitions, contacts, campaigns sent) and your latest works.
- Content: your archive. Works, exhibitions, press, publications and your CV.
- Website: everything about your site. The page editor, templates, styles, favicon, domain and SEO settings.
- Audience: your contacts and lists, built up from enquiries, signups and buyers.
- Campaigns: email your audience from your own Gmail address.
The setup checklist
Your dashboard home shows a checklist that walks you through going live: add your first work, upload your CV, choose your web address, publish your site, add your first contacts and connect your email. Each item links straight to the right screen, and the list ticks itself off as you go.
There is a second, more detailed checklist under Website in the Get started section. It covers setting up your site (address, header, fonts and colours, favicon, home page, publish), adding your content, and getting found on Google.
You do not have to finish the checklist in order. Many artists add a handful of works first, then pick a template, and only then worry about the rest.
