Templates: start from a design made for art
Browse live template previews, pick a palette and fonts, and apply a template safely. Your previous design is always saved.
The template gallery
Every template in the gallery is a complete artist website: pages, layout and typography included. The previews are live sites you can actually scroll, filled with demo content, so you see exactly how a template behaves rather than a flattering screenshot.
You will find templates in two places: the public gallery on this site, and under Website in your dashboard once you have an account.

Palettes and font packs
On a template's detail page you can try different colour palettes and font pairings before applying anything. The preview re-renders with your choice, and the combination you pick rides along when you start from that template.
Nothing here is final: after applying you can change palette, fonts and every other style in the editor's Site Styles panel.
Applying a template
In your dashboard, open Website, go to Templates and click Use template on the design you want. A dialog confirms what will happen before anything changes.
Applying a template replaces your site's design: pages, header, footer and styles. It does not touch your content. Works, exhibitions, press, publications and your audience are stored separately and stay exactly as they are. The template's pages fill themselves with your archive.
Changed your mind? Restore your previous design
Right before a template is applied, Kreativ saves a snapshot of your current design. After applying you will see a message that your previous design was saved, with a Restore it button. One click brings back your previous pages, header, footer and styles exactly as they were.
Kreativ keeps your most recent design snapshots, so you can experiment with templates freely. Trying a template is never a one-way door.
Your live, published site is also unaffected until you publish again. Visitors keep seeing your current site while you experiment.
